I'm There In Spirit!
Historically, revolution is a youth thing, as they have not yet been tainted by the establishment. Most movements begin as youth movements. At 31 years of age (1968), in Phoenix, I participated in the civil rights movement, marching in full Army uniform, along with staff and youth from the Broadway Youth and Family Center (now the Kroc Center). I was motivated out of compassion. Love Leads!
What I am now witnessing in Parkland/Tallahassee, Florida, inspires me. Oh to be young again! Makes me want to put on my uniform, get on an airplane and join them. Alas! An 80 year old body just wouldn’t fit. But I’m there in spirit, and can express my support and compassion through this medium. Love Leads Through Action!
